If not now, when?  When you reach a certain age, it’s time to get off the fence and live the life you want.  When I was younger, I put off a lot of stuff, telling myself, “Oh there’s plenty of time for that, I’ll do it later.”  Can you relate?

Well, a lot of the stuff I was going to do I never did.  Now, however, I don’t want to wait.  I don’t want to put anything off.  If it’s something important to me, then I schedule it – even if it’s several months away or next year.  I do this because I want to use the rest of my life as fully as I can.  I want to do the hard things that I avoided because those hard things push me and make me grow.

I have been going through a personal transformation for many years (as we all have, whether by choice or default) and I’m loving it more and more.  It’s hard because I have to push myself to do things that scare me.  Fear has held me back for many years and I refuse to let it happen anymore.  Oh, I still get scared but, as the saying goes, I do it anyway.

It’s exciting, painful, joyous and scary and all worth it.

I want my life to matter, especially now.  I see my potential, my life as an opportunity to make an impact on someone’s life.

What about you?  What have you been putting off over the years?  How will you use the years coming up for you?  Just waiting or jumping in?
